Warranty Disclaimer

Safety Sector Pty Ltd offers a standard 12-month manufacturer’s warranty on all products purchased via www.safetysector.com.au

For selected products, we also offer extended warranties of 2 years, 3 years, and up to 10 years for added peace of mind. Please refer to each individual product page for details on applicable warranty periods.

Our warranty reflects our pride and confidence in the quality of our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards for both commercial and private use. Your rights are outlined below:

1. What does this warranty cover?

This warranty covers defects in manufacturing and/or materials of any Safety Sector product that has been:

  • Used only for its intended purpose; and

  • Installed in accordance with our recommended methods.

It also covers items damaged during transport, provided the purchaser supplies photographic evidence within 30 days of receiving the item. Please refer to our Shipping & Returns page for more details.

2. What does this warranty not cover?

This manufacturer’s warranty does not apply to defects, damage, or faults caused by:

  • Abnormal use, misuse, or abuse resulting in physical damage.

  • Failure to follow operating or care instructions.

  • Poor or substandard installation.

  • Change of mind.

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Exposure to extreme weather conditions.

3. Who is covered by this warranty?

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser who bought the product directly from Safety Sector Pty Ltd. Proof of purchase (such as an order confirmation email or tax invoice) must be retained and presented.

The warranty is not transferable to subsequent owners if the product is resold.

4. When does the warranty start?

The warranty period begins on the date the product is received by the purchaser and ends after the specified term for that product.

A successful warranty claim does not reset or extend the original warranty period.

5. How to make a warranty claim

To lodge a warranty claim:

  1. Email sales@safetysector.com.au with a brief description of the issue and clear photos of the fault or defect.

  2. Include your original order number or tax invoice number as proof of purchase.

We may request additional information or a physical inspection before accepting a claim.
The purchaser is responsible for returning the product to our Sydney warehouse, including all transport costs.

6. Outcome of a warranty claim

Once we have assessed the claim, we may:

  • Repair the product;

  • Replace the product; or

  • Offer a full or partial refund.

If a replacement is offered, the cost of delivery back to the purchaser will be covered by Safety Sector Pty Ltd.

We reserve the right to determine whether a claim is covered under warranty. A refund may only be provided if agreed by Safety Sector Pty Ltd, and cannot be demanded in place of a replacement if one is available.
